The translations are poor so it is hard to catch onto what exactly is happening. Also with the introduction of new characters (of one who is too carbon copied of L), things just seem like someone is either plot building or really stretching the rubber band. Meanwhile, Light has gotten a job with the police agency, and moved into an apartment with Misa, where their Kira pursuit group continues to meet. But then the director of the Japanese police gets kidnapped... Review (may contain spoilers): As someone stated, the replacement for L (Near) seems very similar to him. Since hes supposed to be the "rightful successor", its probably the way it should be. Still, it might get old... But, this chapter had a bit of humor in the form of flirting between Sayu (Lights sister) and Matsuda, and the reaction of Sayus parents. I enjoyed it. -------------------------- |
