User Review: Now that the series is finished, can I swoon now? I love Victorian Romance Emma. LOVE IT. Okay, so the rescue-from-America arc makes no sense (the abduction, yes -- the rescue, no). Okay, so the backstory of Emma is a bit hard to swallow -- as is the way everyone likes her. And the exact social status of the Jounses wavers a bit. But aside from that, it gets late-Victorian, and gets it right. Including all the social distinctions made both upstairs and downstairs.
Okay, so maybe I have a little crush on Emma herself. Is that so wrong? Is it?
